Windows 11 problems again: the latest update either cannot be installed, or reduces the performance of games
The latest update of the operating system owned by Microsoft has once again brought troubles called Windows 11 problems. This time, several users complained that they can't install the update at all, others see error messages, and still others, even if they manage to install it, it then causes problems in their games.
A group of users have complained to the Windows Latest website that a running update starts a system installation, which is interrupted, then the computer is restarted, the installation starts again and fails again.
One disgruntled commenter commented on gaming performance issues after the update, saying it “broke a few games.” Some games available on the Epic Games Store, such as Fortnite and Horizon Zero Dawn, were suddenly shutting down or “crashing”, after which they could not be restarted. However, this user is not alone, because more such comments have arrived on the mentioned site.
Currently, there is no official solution to fix this issue as Microsoft still hasn't come forward. This isn't the first time that a series of issues have arisen after one of the Windows 11 updates, such as this, has been available.
The so-called “Preview” update KB5030310 for those running Windows 11 22H2 also caused problems, specifically with the File Explorer application that led to other errors and slower responsiveness.

However, if you still want the latest features it has, you can try to install it by going to Settings, then Windows Update and then the Check for Updates option. When the device finds a new optional update, click “Download and install”.
It's also worth noting that the site that received the complaints also tested the update on their own computers and noticed the same issues they received complaints about, so be careful downloading the new update though.
