The OnePlus 12 has just been launched and here’s everything you need to know about it
OnePlus 12 is one of those phones that has been announced for a long time, a lot of information has been leaked about what it will bring to the market, and today we have it all in front of us. Finally.
When it comes to Android phones, there are many models from different brands. Each brings something different with it, hoping to entice users to part with their hard-earned cash.
Recently, we have been eagerly awaiting the launch of a new device from OnePlus. After the OnePlus 11, we expected the OnePlus 12 to be an impressive device, it says T3 .

Now that it has been launched in China, we have a look at the confirmed specifications. It should be noted before we begin that the specifications may not necessarily be the same in other markets, although they will probably be roughly similar.
So what did we get? Well, first, there’s a new one Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood of this device. So the latest processor from Qualcomm, which should offer some significant improvements when it comes to this device.
We are also expecting a new screen with a rather insane brightness rating. It is a BOE 120Hz 2K Super Fluid AMOLED display with a whopping 4,500 nits of brightness! That should be bright enough to see every little thing on the screen without a problem, even in the midday sun.
The 5,400mAh battery is charged with 100W . and 50W wireless charging. That should be more than enough to keep the device charged throughout the day, regardless of how intensively you work with it.
However, the real magic comes from the camera. It has been redesigned in collaboration with the company Hasselbladwhich ensures high-quality images from the device.
On the back of the device is a triple camera setup, with the main sensor being a 50MP Sony LYT808. It is paired with a 64MP 3x periscope telephoto lens and a 48MP ultra-wide sensor.
This sounds like a really great camera setup to us, and should be more than capable of taking on Samsung’s premium phones.
The new premium model also supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity standards, and also has an IR blaster and a USB Type-C 3.2 connector for faster . transfer speeds.
The OnePlus 12 runs ColorOS 14.0, based on Android 14 in China, and will likely arrive as OxygenOS 14 internationally.
Although there is currently no confirmed release date for the global market, rumors suggest that the launch will happen in early 2024.
