Sony revealed the free PlayStation Plus games for January 2024.

Sony today officially released the first set of free PlayStation Plus games that subscribers can download in January 2024.

Sony has officially announced the first free PlayStation Plus games for 2024, and subscribers will be able to download these titles on Tuesday, January 2. Every month, PlayStation Plus subscribers get a new set of free games.

Free games every month are available to all Playstation Plus subscribers, regardless of whether they are signed up for PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium.

New free PS Plus games are always available on the first Tuesday of the month, and are usually, but not always, announced on the last Wednesday of the previous month. That's exactly what happened with the free PS Plus games for January 2024, which have now been revealed.

Free games on PlayStation Plus from January 2nd

Starting Tuesday, January 2, 2024, PS Plus subscribers will be able to add games A Plague Tale: Requiem, Evil West i Nobody Saves the World, with their collections. And unlike PS Plus Extra and Premium games, these games will remain available to subscribers indefinitely as long as they are logged into the Sony service.

PS Plus subscribers who haven't yet played these titles are in for a pleasant surprise, as all three are great games and set the bar high for free PS Plus games in 2024.

For those not familiar with the free PS Plus games for January 2024, A Plague Tale: Requiem is an award-winning action-adventure game with stealth elements developed by Asobo Studio and first released in 2022.

A direct sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, Requiem pushes the franchise forward in a big way, offering vastly improved graphics, refined gameplay, and an exciting story that keeps fans engaged from the beginning of the game to the very end. It's important to note that A Plague Tale: Requiem does not have a PS4 release, so only PS Plus subscribers will be able to play it on PS5 next month.

Luckily for those who haven't yet upgraded their console to Sony's latest model, both Evil West and Nobody Saves the World will be available to PS Plus subscribers on both PS4 and PS5 from January 2nd. Evil West is a third-person shooter about an organization of vampire hunters in the Wild West that received somewhat mixed reviews when it first launched in 2022, but is often referred to as one of the most underrated games of that year.

On the other hand, Nobody Saves the World is a cooperative game where players can transform into different characters and creatures, using their unique abilities to progress through the game and fight against enemies.

In addition to free games, subscribers to the PlayStation Plus service will receive a free bonus gift in the first month of next year. Starting January 2, PlayStation Plus subscribers can download the Syrinx Collection for the free-to-play game Warframe, which brings them weapons, armor and more.

While Playstation Plus subscribers look forward to all the free content they can download in January, they still have time to grab the free PS Plus games for December 2023. The December lineup included LEGO 2K Drive, Powerwash Simulator and Sable.
