Android introduced easy transfer of eSIM cards between devices

Operator adoption support switching eSim cards it's still running slow, but users have still profited because it's a major step by the company Google now done.

Android has quietly introduced a new feature that allows users to easily transfer eSIM cards between their devices. This option comes as a big relief to many who have been frustrated by the complexity of switching subscription plans between feature phones e.g technology.

eSIM cards are becoming widely accepted day by day, as they have revolutionized the way consumers want to stay connected. Unlike traditional SIM cards, eSIM cards are built into the device, eliminating the need for physical removal when changing subscription plans. However, switching between devices with eSIM cards proved less straightforward, requiring users to go through the setup process again.

Recognizing this impracticality, Google announced plans to introduce an eSIM transfer tool for Android devices last year at Mobile World Congress. While details and launch dates were initially kept from the public, users who chose the Pixel 8 for their device were the first to notice the practical application. Although the feature was initially thought to be limited to Google devices, it was later found to work seamlessly with other manufacturers as well.
