And the Honor Magic6 Pro appeared on the net as a live photo of the phone in hand
Chinese company Honor is working hard on its upcoming Magic6 series of phones, and we’re getting a glimpse of it thanks to another round of leaked photos. Namely, Honor Magic6 Pro, which should be the best model of the series, appeared in a photo where a person is holding it in his hand.
In addition to that photo, one of the many Weibo accounts that post this kind of information also posted a purported render of the phone that looks like it was made by fans. Both photos show three rear cameras arranged in a triangle formation in a circular housing, with the top camera equipped with a periscope lens. Next to that camera it says that it has “100x zoom”.
The leaked photos show the phone in a glossy black color, which means that at least for now, there is no more popular trend of matte color versions in this series. The new images also reveal that Honor will probably not go for a new, perhaps bolder design, but will most likely stick to the well-thought-out design of the past with improved cameras, along with a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Earlier we learned that the new series will also include a Porsche Design phone model, which we will see in January 2024, as the company announced. This further indicates that we will have the opportunity to see this series officially then.
Speaking of the upcoming phones’ cameras, rumors suggest that Honor will also use the new OmniVision OV50K sensor, and that the main camera’s sensor will be roughly the same size as the one on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phone.
The cameras will also reportedly support LOFIC technology with CMOS sensors based on a side-flow capacitor, something similar to the Xperia 1 V and Oppo Find N3 phones. In any case, we’ll be learning a lot more about the series itself very soon, given that its launch is getting closer.
