At the big Huawei event that the company held this week, we had the opportunity to see new devices such as the wireless FreeClip headphones, but we also heard announcements of those that will go beyond the borders of China. Thus, on the international market, including in Europe, the company will launch the Huawei MatePad Pro tablet with a diagonal screen of 13.2 inches, as well as the MatePad Air PaperMatte tablet with, as the name suggests, a matte screen.

Huawei MatePad Pro 13,2”

This device runs the latest Huawei Kirin 9000S chipset, and on the software side it is supported by HarmonyOS 4. The Huawei MatePad Pro has RAM up to 16 GB as well as 1 TB of memory for storing data.

Its OLED screen is 13.2 inches long with a resolution of 2880x1920p and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It has a 10,100 mAh battery with support for 88W . charging. The company claims that the battery on the charger reaches 85 percent in 40 minutes, while a full charge takes 65 minutes with its “SuperCharge Turbo” fast charging mode.

The tablet has six speakers and three cameras – primary with 13 MP, ultra-wide with 8 MP and selfie camera with 16 MP, and the camera system was joined by a ToF 3D sensor.

It will also be available in Europe from January 8 in pre-order, and will officially go on sale on January 22, just like the Huawei MateBook D 16 laptop. The 12/256 GB configuration will cost 999 euros, and the 12/512 GB configuration will cost 1199 euros. Also, 199 euros will be an accessory for a smart magnetic keyboard, and the price of the M-pen will be 99 euros.

Huawei MatePad Air PaperMatte tablet

The MatePad Air PaperMatte tablet is actually a revised version of the MatePad Air model with a matte anti-glare anti-glare screen and improved M-Pencil 2 support.

This HarmonyOS tablet has an 11.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1840×2800 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz, with an aspect ratio of 3:2. Also, the tablet has a Snapdragon 888 4G chipset, RAM up to 12GB, as well as an option of up to 512 GB of memory for storing data.

This device will cost 649 euros, and in the box it comes with a keyboard case, which can be attached to the tablet so that it looks like a laptop.
