Samsung Galaxy S24 looks like an iPhone in unofficial renders
The latest leak brought us unofficial renders of phones from the upcoming Samsung Galaxy series, and from it we see that the Samsung Galaxy S24 resembles iPhone devices. It has flat edges with a metal frame and rounded corners, which is most reminiscent of Apple phones, although the layout of the buttons is not identical to, for example, iPhone 15.
If someone told you that the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S24 were designed by the same team, you might believe them. However, apart from the fact that the upcoming Galaxy phone really looks like some of the Apple lines, it has some specific Samsung features.
From both the front and the back, the phone looks much more typical for Samsung: a vertical camera system assembly on the back and an edge-to-edge display, with a small cutout for the front-facing camera as on the Samsung Galaxy S23.
Based on the images published jointly by the X account @OnLeaks and the website SmartPrix, it is not known what material its frame will be made of, and insiders previously indicated that it will also have titanium, the same as the iPhone 15 series. However, it is possible that only the Ultra model of the series will receive this upgrade in material, and based on media reports, it seems that the flat sides will be reserved for the entire range.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 is likely to have a diagonal size of 6.1 inches, while the overall size will be slightly larger, reportedly measuring 147×70.5×7.6 millimeters compared to 146.3×70.9×7.6 mm . The screen will reportedly be an LTPO OLED with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits of maximum brightness.
Right now, it looks like this phone won’t get any major camera upgrades: the main one will reportedly have 50 MP, the ultra-wide 12 MP, while the telephoto will be 10 MP and 3x optical zoom.
It will likely be powered by an Exynos 2400 processor in most markets, while the US, Canada, or China may see a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Specifically, it looks like only the Ultra model in each market will have a Qualcomm chipset.
However, we are still several months away from the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series of phones, so this information should still be viewed with a grain of salt. Most likely, we should see the new series at the beginning of next year, when we will definitely reveal all its features officially.
