Ryzen 7000G Desktop APUs, dedicated AMD-ovo AM5 port, they should join the Phoenix family that has already attracted attention in the mobile segment. This family of APUs will offer variants labeled PRO and Non-PRO, satisfying a wide range of users. Among the revealed models are Ryzen 5 7500G and Ryzen 3 7300G chips.
The AMD Ryzen 5 7500G APU, available in PRO and Non-PRO versions with tags 100-000001183-00 and 100-00000931, boasts a TDP of 65W and an impressive 6 cores and 12 threads. Meanwhile, the Ryzen 3 7300G, with part numbers 100-00000187-00 (PRO) and 100-000001186 (Non-PRO), maintains a TDP of 65W and offers 4 cores with 8 threads.
AMD Ryzen 7000G and Ryzen 8000 families will be joined by many more models
For those considering APU chips for laptops, the AMD Ryzen 8000 “Hawk Point” series is intended to refresh existing Ryzen 7040 “Phoenix” APUs.
