The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has definitely appeared in real live photos

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultrawhich is expected to be officially launched alongside its vanilla and Plus counterparts in less than two months, after almost all the key information has been leaked from extremely reliable sources several times recently, we now have the chance to see it live for the first time.

What we see in the photos above and below are certainly not computer-generated renderings of a potential Galaxy S24 Ultra design or “dummy” models intended to help case makers develop accessories for the “next big thing” from Samsung. Instead, these are surely genuine photos of some sort of early version of an as-yet-unreleased device, though like anything else that doesn't come directly from the company ahead of such an important product announcement, it should still be viewed with a healthy dose of caution.

At first, we didn't know if we were looking at a (very convincing) clone of the Galaxy S24 Ultra produced by a completely different company, until the doubts were dispelled with his tweets by the most reliable leaker of today @IceUniverseand even mentioned that it's a Titanium Gold color, which suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra might have a titanium frame!

As expected over the last few months, it seems to us that even minimal curves with Galaxy S23 Ultra gone, giving way to a completely flat screen and a flat back panel, this time.

It's something that probably would have caused quite a bit of controversy just a few years ago, but now it seems natural and… expected given how Samsung has subtly overhauled the design of its last few premium phones.

In addition, Galaxy S24 Ultra at first glance it looks almost identical to its predecessor, with the same rear camera layout and position of the four sensors and LED flash, an unchanged centrally placed selfie camera hole on the front, reports SamMobile.

Unfortunately, we do not see the software and applications on the phone in the photos, but we assume that it is for now OneUI 6 version, possibly some customized 6.1. Hopefully that will come a little later… unless, of course, the person who posted these pictures is already in legal trouble.

What (else) do we know about the Galaxy S24 Ultra?

Because the answer “everything” would probably be a slightly exaggerated answer to this question, let's say… almost everything. For example, we have no idea whether Samsung is preparing some kind of price increase compared to the already expensive Galaxy S23 Ultra.

We certainly hope not, given all the speculation about the similarities between the two super-flagships, from the 5,000mAh battery to the 200MP primary camera on the back to the 6.8-inch screen with the same “general” specs. But then you have subtle but important upgrades, like a possible jump from 1,750 nits of screen brightness to around 2,500 nits, an all-new 200MP sensor, and storage options that could go from as little as 128GB to as much as 2TB.

In the meantime, camera system on the back of the Galaxy S24 Ultra it will probably be fundamentally different from the one that the S23 Ultra had, with the periscopic the telephoto lens supposedly magnifies from 10 to 50 megapixels, but drops the optical zoom from 10x to 5x. It's not yet clear how Samsung will try to introduce the potentially controversial change, and whether it means the S24 Ultra could start at a lower price point than the S23 Ultra.

We have to wait for January, the official presentation and the start of sales.
