Stellantis announced the Fiat E-Ducato with a range of 420 km

The Solutrans fair held in Lyon revealed an update to the entire range of commercial vehicles, among which Stellantis announced the Fiat E-Ducato, a new electric van with a range of 420 km. By the way, Stellantis is a multinational corporation formed in 2021 as a result of the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Group (Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall), which makes it the fourth largest car manufacturer by sales, right behind Toyota, Volkswagen Group and Hyundai Motor Group.

Probably the most interesting update is the new Fiat E-Ducato thanks to its massive 110 kWh battery, and the company says a hydrogen version of the van is also in the works.

The mentioned range of 420 km in the WLTP cycle makes the Fiat E-Ducato one of the most powerful electric vehicles, i.e. vans in its class and allegedly offers up to 30 percent more range than the one from the previous generation.

Although not completely new, as the model was released earlier this year, this vehicle is part of the second generation of large Stellantis vans, which includes the Peugeot E-Boxer, Citroen e-Jumper and Opel Movano vehicles. The entire range of vans now has larger information screens with an updated interface, Dynamic Surround Vision for better visibility around the vehicle and 18 driving assistance systems.

There is also mobile connectivity, which enables companies to manage their entire electric vehicle fleet more easily. All the new models are on display at the Solutrans fair, which is being held this year from November 21 to 25 in Lyon, France, the corporation announced.
