Sony LYTIA sensors appear to arrive in: Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Vivo X100 Pro+ and Oppo Find X7 Pro phones

A new report from well-known Chinese insider DigitalChatStation claims that Sony LYTIA sensors will also be found in Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Vivo X100 Pro+ and Oppo Find X7 Pro phones. These devices will reportedly feature an upgraded one-inch camera sensor called the Sony LYT-900.

According to unconfirmed information, all three companies are already testing the new hardware and the results are reportedly promising. The sensor will feature the new DCG (Dual Conversion Gain) technology, which probably refers to the layered design that Sony has been pushing for the past year.

So far we've seen smaller photography devices that supposedly match the performance of one-inch type sensors, and now we should see the best of both worlds. The insider believes that the Oppo Find X7 Pro will be the first phone to feature the new optimized Sony one-inch sensor.

However, it's likely that all three companies will launch their phones in close succession next year, so there won't be any long-term exclusivity.

In addition to this unverified, but probably correct information, today we also learned from official Oppo and Sony announcements that the first phone in the world to have a higher-end Sony LYTIA camera sensor will be the OnePlus 12. Analysts believe that it will be the Sony IMX 966 out of 50 The 1/1.4-inch MP should help the phone's camera take better photos in low light.
