Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ arrives for One UI 6 and Android 14 update

Samsung continues to deliver One UI 6 and Android 14 updates at a strong pace, and the latest among the company's devices to receive them is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ tablet. By the way, this device was launched in October this year with the Android 13 operating system.

The update, however, starts from Turkey and Australia, but in the coming days it will reach other countries of the world, as it usually happens. It will be available via over-the-air download and is 2 GB in size and after installation you will have the software version X610XXU1BWK9 / X610OJM1BWKA along with the November 1 security patch.

One of the notable innovations is the new DeX mode, a Samsung application that gives tablet users a desktop-like experience by connecting the device to an external display device such as a TV, monitor or computer.

The new DeX is a kind of hybrid of the older DeX option and the usual One UI user interface, writes GSM Arena. In addition, the update brings a new dashboard design.

The usual caveats about over-the-air updates apply here too, and these types of software upgrades tend to arrive in stages, meaning it could take a few days before they officially hit all devices. This of course applies even to those countries where the update is already available.
