Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra with SoC details spotted on Geekbench

It is expected that the series Samsung Galaxy S24 soon to be launched globally early next year. Most likely, like the previous one, it will contain three models – the basic Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra. This line will succeed the Galaxy S23 series, which went on sale earlier this year in February.

The South Korean tech giant is speculated to launch the Galaxy S24 models earlier than usual. Although the company has not yet announced the launch date, there has already been information on how to introduce them expected on January 17 at a special event in the United States of America.

Various leaks and reports have suggested many key details about the Galaxy S24 models, but what we know for sure so far is the information that surfaced today.

Galaxy S24 Ultra stiže sa 12GB RAM-a

MySmartPrice report suggests that the Ultra version has been spotted on Geekbench, a benchmarking website, with the model number SM-S928N. The list shows the phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC re paired with 12 GB of RAM.

The report adds that it is the Korean version of the base model Galaxy S24 also spotted on site with model number SM-S921N. The base model is shown with an internal Exynos 2400 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. The listing adds that the phone will ship with the One UI 6.0 user interface based on Android 14. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy S23 phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and the same software version is received recently.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was previously suggested to be available in black, grey, purple and yellow. The model could also be launched in light blue, light green and orange colors exclusively through the Samsung Store. Leaked design renders suggest that it will share a design with previous Galaxy S23 models.

According to an earlier report, the upcoming series of premium devices is also expected arrive with titanium frames, similar to Apple's iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models, which went on sale this year in September. It is not clear if all or only select models (read: Ultra) will get this frame.
