Published list of Samsung Galaxy AI functions coming to the S23 series of phones
Aside from Google, Samsung is the first mainstream brand to introduce artificial intelligence to smartphones. After the Galaxy Unpacked event, the company revealed that Galaxy AI features will be coming to older Samsung phones, starting with the Galaxy S23 series, and now there’s a list of specific AI features coming to these devices as well.
Samsung UK has shared an infographic showing all the Galaxy AI features already available on the S24 series of phones. Based on the chart, almost all the major options will be available on older devices as well, for sure on the S23 series for now.
Among the key features coming to older models, users will get an improved search circle, live translation feature, photo assist and note assistant.
As for Galaxy AI features coming to even older models, such as the S22 series, there is still no official information that this will definitely happen. Although earlier official statements of the Samsung company denied such plans, there is always the possibility of changing the strategy in the future, reminds Wccftech.
Another thing to note is that while those basic AI features are coming to the S23 series, the same cannot be said for the paid features, but that could change in the future.
Smartphones are becoming more and more sophisticated and adapting to the needs of users. Samsung’s decision to extend functionality to previous models, which are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, indicates a commitment to improving the user experience, and in the future, we will most likely see Galaxy AI on tablets and other company devices.
