Older Samsung Galaxy devices are also getting One UI 6 in early 2024

The South Korean company Samsung seems to have taken the job of bringing a new operating system and user interface to its devices very seriously and has already announced a new update schedule. The latest list for Android 14 and One UI 6 update also includes older Samsung Galaxy devices, according to the schedule published in Germany.

Although it appears that most phones and tablets will receive Android 14 and One UI 6 in November and December, the list reveals that older Samsung phones will also receive the software update, but early next year, in January and February to be exact.

Currently, no devices are scheduled for March next year, which means that Samsung may already be preparing the One UI 6.1 version. Before you check out the new update list, remember that these schedules aren't always 100 percent accurate. Samsung, on the other hand, tends to release some device updates in advance. A good example of this was the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, which was scheduled for an update in December, and it already became available in some countries in November.

The list of devices was first spotted by the SamMobile portal within the Samsung Members application. We saw this announcement method for the first time in South Korea, and now such a schedule is also available in Germany.

The update schedule will probably start appearing in other countries within the said app, and you can check it by going to the notification section of the app (bell icon).
