NVIDIA embargo document reveals GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4070 SUPER launch dates

Get ready for a “SUPER” month, because NVIDIA plans to introduce new high-end GPUs in January 2024.

In a sudden leak, the embargo document released by the site Videocardzreveals the launch dates of highly anticipated NVIDIA graphics cards – GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 The SUPER i RTX 4070 SUPER.

Recent leaks have already hinted at the imminent arrival of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPU series, but the appearance of an embargo document now provides concrete details on the launch schedule. NVIDIA enthusiasts can expect three powerful additions to the “SUPER” family, namely GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4070 SUPER.

CES 2024: NVIDIA keynote 8 January at 17h CET

According to the embargo plan outlined in the leaked document, NVIDIA will follow its usual strategy of introducing GPUs in stages, including unboxing, reviews for MSRP and non-MSRP models, and finally, a launch to retail. The big presentation is scheduled for the CES 2024 NVIDIA keynote on January 8 at 9 a.m. (Pacific time), that is, at 5 p.m.

Interestingly, the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER unboxing embargo will be lifted on the same day as the CES keynote, making it the only model with a pre-launch unboxing embargo. This unique approach is sure to heighten anticipation among fans and enthusiasts of GPU technology.

Although the leaked information mentions AIC (Add-In-Card) models, there is still no confirmation on the possibility of launching a Founders Edition version. The actual launch dates for each card are separate, adding to the confusion. The RTX 4070 SUPER is expected to hit shelves on January 17th, followed by the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER on January 24th, and finally the RTX 4080 SUPER on January 31st.
