Motorola introduced the Moto Watch 40, which expands the line of its smart watches
Motorola’s new smartwatch is the Moto Watch 40, which comes in all-black or black with gold options. It seems that the new watch is a slightly more compact version of last year’s Moto Watch 70 model, which was launched in May together with the Moto Watch 200 watch.
Although reminiscent of that one, the Moto Watch 40 brings a curved LCD screen 1.57 inches long with over 85 watch face options. The new model has a case made of zinc with a replaceable silicone bracelet with IP67 certification for water resistance.
The software side is covered by Moto Watch OS, and the watch supports notifications on the screen, although it does not offer the option of replying to messages or making calls on the device.
Like more and more wearable devices, this watch also has functions that monitor the user’s health. The Moto Watch 40 has the ability to monitor heart rate and SpO2 during 24 hours, as well as functions to monitor sleep and measure stress levels, and each of these functions can be integrated with the GoogleFit platform.
The Moto Watch 40 has a 240 mAh battery that the company claims can last up to 10 days on a single charge. In addition, the battery supports fast charging that can charge the watch in just 25 minutes with the included magnetic charger.
On the company’s official website, the new watch costs $65, and its availability in various countries of the world will probably be specified in the coming period.
