Hurry over to Ubisoft Connect because Assassin’s Creed Syndicate for PC is free to download until December 6th

If you log into your Ubisoft Connect account via the app or web by December 6, you'll be able to download Assassin's Creed Syndicate for PC for free, after which the game will be yours forever. The action was announced by Ubisoft on its website as a so-called Giveaway, i.e. the current trend of giving away certain products in the online world. Although we are used to EpicGamesStore offering free games on a weekly basis, now the French publisher has decided to surprise us.

The mentioned title is an entry in the Ubisoft series of so-called stealth adventures from 2015 with dual protagonists set in 19th century London. The title was launched for PS4, Xbox One and PC computers eight years ago, and it is also the last “classic” part of the franchise before it went more in the RPG direction with the Origins and Odyssey parts. After this part, the series got more stats and levels to consider before finally facing the enemies.

Despite this, Assassin's Creed Syndicate is certainly an improvement over its predecessor, Assassin's Creed Unity, which was plagued by frequent bugs and errors. Although it wasn't well-received by the public upon launch, the game ended up receiving solid reviews from critics, with great final boss fight scenes.

The game is set in London in the 1800s, and the main roles are played by twin killers Jacob and Eva Fry in their quest to stop the Templars. The title includes a nice mix of historical events with a tried and tested fictional Ubisoft plot, two ancient civilizations, magical cloaks and characters from the Desmong/Egypt era.

With modern PC hardware and plenty of patches, Assassin's Creed Syndicate should run much better than it did at launch. If it turns out you don't like the game's story or setting, at least you won't lose money trying it out, just some bandwidth and storage space.

The system requirements of the game you need to even run it at 720p and 30 fps really aren't that high. They include Windows 10 64-bit, a processor in the range of AMD FX 6350 or Intel Core i5 2400s, a graphics card at the level of AMD Radeon R9 270 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 660, 6 GB of RAM and 50 GB of free space, as well as DirectX version from June 2010

The publisher's recommended requirements for the game to run at 1080p and 60 fps are a bit more advanced, but they aren't particularly high either. The processor should be at the level of AMD FX-8350 or Intel Core i7-3770, graphics card of AMD Radeon R9 280X or Nvidia GeForce GTX 760, RAM of 8 GB, while everything else is the same as the minimum system requirements.
