Honor Play 50 Plus presented with Dimensity 6020 chip and 50 MP camera
Just like last year at this time, when the Honor Play 40 Plus was released, the Chinese company also presented its new phone this October – the Honor Play 50 Plus. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, and provides 8/12 GB of RAM combined with 256 GB of storage space.
This device runs MagicOS 7.2 which is based on Android 13 operating system, which is likely to be the case until the Android 14 update reaches all the planned devices. The new Honor phone has a diagonal length of 6.8 inches with a screen refresh rate of 90 Hz and a resolution of 2412×1080 pixels.

The circles of course represent the camera and flash: the main one offers 50 MP with a 2 MP photosensitive depth of field camera.
The Honor Play 50 Plus has a 6000mAh battery and supports 35W fast . charging. The remaining features of the phone are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers and support for Hi-Res Audio, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port and 5G connectivity.
The phone is released in four colors: black, metallic green and light shades of green and purple, where both variants are permeated with white and patterns in the form of lines. The phone is already available for purchase in China through Honor’s official website and with the 12/256 GB configuration it costs 1399 Chinese yuan, which is about 185 euros, while the price for RAM with less gigabytes is still not announced.
