Global launch date of Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro smartphones known
Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro were launched last month and are currently exclusive to China only. However, today we also learned the much-desired date of the global launch of this series.
This information comes from Vivo via their global web sites, where the X100 and X100 Pro event page is set up. As we know, both the smartphones were available for pre-orders from November 24th and the launch event will start at 7pm next Thursday i.e. December 14th. What Vivo didn't mention is the time zone.
Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro runs Dimensity 9300 chipset, and the most significant difference between them is in the cameras and batteries. The X100 has a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W . charging, while the X100 Pro has a 5,400 mAh battery with 100W . and 50W wireless charging. On the software side, it powers these phones Funtouch 14 version, based on the Android 14 system.

Both smartphones have a triple camera setup on the back, with a common 50MP ultrawide unit, while the primary and periscope telephoto cameras are different. The X100 comes with a 50MP 1/1.49″ primary camera and a 64MP 70mm periscopic telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom, while the X100 Pro has a 50MP 1/0.98″ primary camera and a 50MP 100mm periscopic telephoto unit with 4 ,3x optical zoom.

The user's visual experience on the Vivo X100 series is further enhanced with an eye-protecting LTPO display and the exclusive Vivo V frame rate management system, which dynamically adjusts the refresh rate based on the swipe speed of the finger, providing a better experience to reduce power consumption.
