China officially launches Huawei Mate 60 Pro

The new Huawei Mate 60 Pro is already available for online pre-order in China, which is a big surprise for everyone considering that the company did not do a big campaign before the official announcement of the device. The most interesting feature of the device is the three circles on the screen, the so-called punch holes in which Huawei placed a selfie camera and a 3D ToF sensor.

The new series thus starts with the flagship Huawei Mate 60 Pro phone, unless the company decides to prepare another surprise that will include an even better phone model. This phone has a large 6.82-inch screen with a ten-bit LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2720 x 1260 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is covered by second-generation Kunlun glass on top of the panel.

Right on top of it, there is a trio that houses an ultra-wide selfie 13 MP camera, as in the previous two series, with sensors and lasers for 3D face mapping for the Face ID function. On the back, in a circular case, the device has three more cameras.

The well-known main camera has 50 MP and optical image stabilization (OIS) as well as PDAF, i.e. autofocus for face detection. As with the Mate 50 Pro and P60 Pro, it also has a variable aperture between f/1.4 and f/4.0.
