Cooler Master has presented its new trump card in the field of gaming monitors. It is a 27″ large screen marked GM2711S, which stands out above all by its design with minimally thin frames around the three main sides of the screen. Only the one at the bottom is slightly thicker, but that is quite understandable because the electronics for the screen lighting had to be placed somewhere.

The monitor uses AUO Optoelectronics electronics in the form of an IPS panel measuring 27″ diagonally. The visible viewing angle is 178 degrees horizontally and vertically. The panel is made in 16:9 format and displays 2K QHD resolution, i.e. 2560×1440 pixels.

The maximum vertical refresh rate is set at 180 Hz, which, with a response time (GtG) of 2 ms and a maximum brightness of 350 nits, guarantees the display of perfectly smooth 3D animation in games.

The monitor covers 95% DCI-P3, 91% Adobe RGB color range and has a static contrast value of 1000:1. The screen stands out in particular in terms of one technical detail, which concerns the use of exclusive AU Opttronics anti-reflective technology, which enables the production of panels with almost zero reflection of background light.

Built-in technology effectively neutralizes glare and reflection on the screen surface, and in addition, GM2711 reduces the intensity of lighting by 20% without any visible consequences for the user looking at the screen. According to AUO officials, this type of panel reduces energy consumption by up to 60% compared to similar panels.

In addition to the mentioned technologies, Cooler Master GM2711S has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one Display Port 1.4 connector, and there is also a 3.5 mm audio connector. It also has a USB Hub function with the help of two USB-A ports.
